Meeting Santa

Madison got to meet Santa over the weekend. She makes friends with everyone she comes in contact with and Santa Claus was no exception. She warmed up to him right away and thought his long white beard was pretty funny.

Christmas Party

We hosted a Christmas party last weekend and had a wonderful time celebrating the season with friends and family. It was a delightful evening as we warmed up by the crackling fire and sipped on delicious hot apple cider.

Pearly White

Madison was easing her teething pains by gnawing on this pearl necklace. For the past several weeks, we have endured several sleepless nights and loads of drool as our little girl's first tooth was trying to emerge. This morning, that little pearly white finally made it's appearance!

Standing Up

Last Sunday while we were playing in the living room, Madison learned how to pull herself up into a standing position. She was very excited about her new skill. That afternoon when we put her down for her nap, Josh and I watched through a crack in the door to see if she would try to pull herself up in her crib. Sure enough… we immediately saw her little hands reach up for the side rail and her body slowly started to rise up. She had the biggest smile on her face and kept squealing in delight as she was standing there. She was so proud of herself. Josh and I ran into her room to join our girl in her moment of triumph….. and of course take pictures!

Madison loves looking at herself in the mirror. We're not sure if she really knows who she is looking at but either way, she is fascinated with it. It's quite entertaining to watch.
